To be considered for the position, candidates must be a proven leader with a track record of demonstrated results. Specifically, the Board of Directors is searching for a leader who is fully committed to upholding the CCA mission and values and possesses the following characteristics:

Ability to effectively collaborate with the Board of Directors, administrators, staff, supporting organizations, and the parent community
Enhance and implement a strategic plan based on CCA’s mission and values
Commitment to Core Knowledge curriculum and a passion for academic rigor
Understands the diverse needs of all students and is genuinely committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Personal
Effective and articulate communication skills
Models high character and humility through an approachable demeanor
Exhibits a strong moral compass and integrity

Communication
Effective at conflict resolution with a variety of stakeholders

Experienced in navigating complex interpersonal issues
Organizational Oversight
Experience in strategic planning
Strong understanding of financial sustainability and budget development
Proven ability to hire, develop, retain, and support excellent faculty and staff
Understanding of Colorado charter school laws, policies, practices, and challenges
Detail-oriented and compliant with all CCA policies and procedures to ensure enforcement with staff and students
Proven experience with grant writing
Minimum Qualifications
Advanced degree from an accredited institution, preferably in education and/or business administration
Two years’ experience as an administrator in a public or private school or a position with equivalent responsibilities in the public or private sector
Salary Range: $135,000 - $155,000, eligible for performance bonus

Preferred experience with bond election and construction projects
Salary and Benefits: $150,000-$175,000 negotiated salary based upon experience, with a negotiated benefit package that includes family health insurance, with option to purchase dental and vision.
